Celebrate the Year of the Rooster at MGM National Harbor
The Conservatory at MGM National Harbor features a festive look highlighting the Chinese New Year, celebrating the Year of the Rooster.

It's Chinese New Year 2017. Looking to celebrate the Year of the Rooster? The Conservatory at MGM National Harbor, just across the river from Alexandria, is now decorated for the holiday in a rich and warm palette of gold, red and orange.
The floral masterpiece features 200,000 flowers in all. The space ushers in the Chinese new year with a 30-foot tall fire rooster, citrus trees and “Lady Luck,” the Chinese empress, all covered in thousands of flowers. Lush greenery and traditional elements inspired by the holiday fill the space with prosperity and good fortune. The floral display was designed by Ed Libby, a world-renowned interior and event designer.
The Year of the Rooster will be celebrated until Feb. 15, 2018. People born in the Year of the Rooster are, according to legend, honest, energetic, intelligent, flexible and confident.
