Guns, Narcotics Recovered Sunday Night from SUV in Hybla Valley: Police

An anonymous caller contacted police Sunday night after seeing a man waving a gun in the air; police followed suspects from 7-Eleven store.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Officers recovered two guns and drugs in an SUV after an anonymous caller contacted police to report seeing a man waving a gun in the air Sunday night in the Hybla Valley area.

Police were called Sunday night at about 11:52 p.m. to the 7-Eleven store at 8010 Richmond Highway (see map below), after an anonymous caller said that a man was walking around, waving a gun in the air. (Police did not say if the caller saw the person waving the gun inside the store.) Responding officers saw three black men exit the 7-Eleven and get into a black SUV. One of the men matched the description of the man with a gun.

Officers stopped the SUV and eventually found two handguns and narcotics in the vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.
