More Food Distributions Planned In Mount Vernon, Springfield
The drive-thru food distributions are free and held on select dates in February.
MOUNT VERNON, VA — Drive-thru food distributions will continue in February through Lee District Supervisor Rodney Lusk and local partners.
The free distributions will be held at 11 a.m. on Feb. 4, 11 and 18 at the Gerry Hyland South County Government Center, 8350 Richmond Highway, Alexandria, and at 11 a.m. on Feb. 25 at The Journey Church, 6427 Franconia Road, Springfield. Individuals will receive a 32-pound box containing dairy, milk, produce, and meat products.
Individuals should wear a face mask at the events. Since the events are drive-thru, walk ups are not allowed.
