MOUNT VERNON, VA—Christmas is just about here. The presents are wrapped, lights are twinkling and holiday cards are in the mail. Everything is set. But there's a chance you might find an ingredient is missing or need more food for last-minute guests at your holiday party. Either way, a quick grocery store run may be necessary.
That’s why Patch reached out to grocery stores around the Route 1 area of Fairfax County to check if they're open or closed. Giant and Safeway are open on Christmas, while stores like The Fresh Market, Target and Trader Joe's are closed.
