Next Drive-Thru Food Distribution Planned In Mount Vernon

Lee District Supervisor Rodney Lusk and local partners are continuing the food distributions.

MOUNT VERNON, VA — Food distributions hosted by Lee District Supervisor Rodney Lusk and partners in Mount Vernon will continue in the new year.

The next drive-thru distribution will happen t 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 7 at the South County Government Center, 8350 Richmond Highway, Alexandria.

There are no eligibility requirements to pick up the food. Individuals will receive staples like produce, rice, pasta, canned meat and more. Distributions are contact free, and face coverings are required.

Individuals must be in vehicles; walk ups are not permitted. Vehicles should enter on Buckman Road. For weather-related updates, check www.fairfaxcounty.gov/lee.
