Police Blotter: Three Mount Vernon Homes Burglarized

Police also reported two larcenies in the Fort Hunt area

A home on the 7700 block of Eagle Avenue was burglarized on Thursday night. Police say the suspect forced entry through a door and stole a television and video game set around 9 p.m. Police have initiated an investigation.

A home on the 2200 block of Windsor road was burglarized on Sunday morning. Police say someone entered a home through an open garage and stole loose change from a vehicle some time between 3 a.m. and 7 a.m.

Police say a home on the 5900 block of North Kings Highway was burglarized on Monday morning.  Police say someone entered the home between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m., but nothing appeared to be missing.

Between February 11th and February 4th the Mount Vernon Police District station reported two larcenies in the Fort Hunt area:

Police say a car battery was stolen from a vehicle on the 8200 block of Holland Road.
