Police: Man Robbed and Stabbed on Huntington Avenue

The following incidents were reported by the Mount Vernon Police District station between September 7^th and September 14^th.

Fort Hunt Crime

Police say cash was stolen from a vehicle on the 2100 block of Whiteoaks Drive.

Police say a pocket knife was stolen from a business on the 7900 block of Richmond Highway.

Police say an iPhone was stolen from a business on the 7700 block of Richmond Highway.

Mount Vernon Area Crime

Police say three men robbed a 26-year-old man in Mount Vernon on Saturday, September 10^th at around 12:30 a.m.  The victim was not injured. Police say the suspects were described as black and around 20 years old. They were about 5’9 tall, 160 pounds, and wore short hair.

Police say a 26-year old man was robbed and stabbed on the 2300 block of Huntington Avenue on Saturday, September 10^th at around 9:15p.m.  Police say the victim was taken to the hospital for non life-threatening injuries.

Police say three males attempted to rob an 18-year-old man on the 5400 block of Claymont Drive on Saturday, September 10^th at around 9:33 p.m.  One of the suspects was described as black, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and 160 pounds. Police say the victim was transported to the hospital for non life-threatening injuries.

Police charged a Mount Vernon man for drug possession and trespassing last week on a property located on the 8200 block of Russell Road. Police arrested Kirkland G. Sprattley, 30, just after midnight on Wednesday, September 14^th. He was taken to jail and charged with trespassing and possession of schedule I or II drugs.
