Police: Pizza Delivery Man Robbed

Also: A cell phone was stolen from a business in Fort Hunt

The following incidents were reported by the Mount Vernon Police district station between April 20th and April 27th.

Police say a food delivery man was robbed at gun point on the 7900 block of Audubon Avenue. The 50-year-old man was robbed on Thursday, April 21 at around 10: 30 p.m. Police say the suspect was a male, wearing a mask and dark-colored clothing. The victim was not injured.

Police say two men robbed a 51-year-old pizza delivery man on the 8200 block of Greta Court.  The incident occurred on Tuesday, April 26th at around 2:44 p.m.  The suspects were described as being between the ages of 18 and 19, 5”9 and 5”10 and 160 to 165 pounds.  The victim was taken to the hospital for non life-threatening injuries. One suspect was described as black and the other white.
