Police: Robbery, Larcenies Reported in Mount Vernon District

The latest daily activity report provided by the Fairfax County Police Department on Oct 21. Mentioned arrests do not indicate convictions.

The following are incidents reported in the Mount Vernon District according to the Fairfax County Police's daily activity report, released Monday.

Robbery (blue on map), 5:23 a.m., Oct. 20, 2400 block of Fairhaven Avenue, A man and woman entered a convenience store and the man displayed a gun. The suspects took cash and fled. There were no injuries. The first suspect was described as a black female, about 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, wearing a black ski mask and dark clothing. The second suspect was described as a black male, about 5 feet 10 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall, wearing a black ski mask and dark clothing.

Larcenies (red on map):

  • 7900 block of Audubon Avenue, personal documents from residence
  • 8400 block of Blankenship Street, money and other items from vehicle
  • 2200 block of Colonial Woods Drive, electronic device from vehicle
  • 200 block of Denfield Drive, license plate from vehicle
  • 2300 block of Huntington Avenue, wine and beer from business
  • 6500 block of Potomac Avenue, DVD player and TV
  • 6300 block of Richmond Highway, merchandise from business
  • 7600 block of Richmond Highway, suitcase from business
  • 7900 block of Richmond Highway, bicycle from business
  • 6700 block of Tower Drive, generator from vehicle
No stolen vehicles were reported at the time.
