Fairfax County's <a href="http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/cex/nepp/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Neighborhood Enhancement Partnership Program</a> is offering matching grant funds of up to $5,000 dollars for community improvement projects. The program aims to nurture community engagement and promote healthier, safer and cleaner neighborhoods.   Organizations that are eligible to apply for the grant include civic associations, homeowner associations, resident associations, pool or recreation clubs, neighborhood watch patrols, among others. The organization must possess a valid Business Tax ID and not be controlled by any faith organization Applications must be received by Monday, Oct 31st at 2 p.m. The grants are scheduled to be awarded in February.
