Richmond Highway Area Restaurant Robbed at Gunpoint Wednesday Night
Police searched the area with a helicopter and K9 police dog but could not find the suspect in armed robbery of restaurant Wednesday night.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- A Richmond Highway-area restaurant, Taco Grande, was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday night, according to Fairfax County Police.
Police say that the suspect came into the business, located at 8733 Cooper Road, just off of Richmond Highway, Wednesday night and placed an order for food; when his order was ready, he handed some cash to an employee. When the employee opened the cash register, the suspect pulled out a gun from his waistband and demanded all the money in the register, according to police.
The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and ran out of the store onto Cooper Road, police said. Police were called at 9:12 p.m. A FCPD K9 police dog and the Fairfax 1 helicopter responded to assist in the search for the suspect.

He was described as black, in his 30s, with a light complexion, police said. He was wearing a brown shirt and dark pants.
