Second Suspect Apprehended in Robbery of Woman Outside Richmond Highway 7-Eleven: Police
A woman using an ATM inside the store was ambushed outside during early-morning robbery outside 7-Eleven store in Mount Vernon area.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Fairfax County Police announced Tuesday that a second suspect was recently arrested in connection with a robbery outside the 7-Eleven store on Frye Road.
On Jan. 12, Korey Desean Proctor, 23, of the Alexandria area, was arrested and charged with robbery. An investigation by the Mount Vernon District Station, Criminal Investigation Section, led to police connecting Proctor’s involvement in a robbery that occurred outside the 7-Eleven store at 8434 Frye Road (see map below), on Friday, Nov. 18, at about 6:30 a.m.
That morning, a 58-year-old woman had gone into the store and used the ATM to withdraw cash, police said. She left the store and as she walked toward Frye Road, a man grabbed her from behind and threw her to the ground. A second suspect grabbed the victim’s wallet and both suspects fled toward the adjacent apartment complex. The victim did not require medical attention.

One suspect was identified and arrested. Ky’ree Tihoe, 18, of the Alexandria area, was apprehended at his home on Monday, Nov. 21, shortly before 10 p.m. He was transported to the Adult Detention Center and charged with robbery.
The second suspect, who police say was Proctor, was described as 18-26 years old, of unknown race, about 5 feet 8 inches tall. He was wearing a red jacket, with a reflective vest over it, tan pants and construction style boots.
