Thunderstorms Could Affect Evening Commute

Severe thunderstorms threaten to affect the evening commute.

The National Weather Services has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for all of  Fairfax county in effect until 8p.m.

The service predicts showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 9pm.

Expect low temperatures around 66 degrees, with south wind between 6 and 14 mph. New rainfall amounts could total between a tenth and quarter of an inch, though higher amounts are possible.
