Water Main Work Begins on West Boulevard Drive

Fairfax Water has begun a construction project to replace a water main on West Boulevard Drive near Wellington Road and Lee Avenue.  Motorists traveling through the work zone on West Boulevard Drive can expect flaggers directing them through a one way narrow passage.  The project is expected to last for several weeks.

George Washington Memorial Parkway, National Park Service (NPS) will continue to inform the public and the media of any delays or adjustments to this work schedule.  As with all construction projects, inclement weather may require adjustments to the schedules, including the possibility of postponement.  The NPS regrets any inconvenience and appreciates all motorists’ understanding and patience.
