West Potomac Academy Students to Host Fashion Show May 10

The winner of America's Next Top Model and WPGC radio host slated to co-host

West Potomac Academy (WPA) Fashion Design students will host the seventh annual Runway Ready Concept to Catwalk fashion show on May 10 at West Potomac High School.

Fashion Design students are involved in producing all of the garments for their collections as well as planning, producing and promoting the show. This professional-calibre fashion show will also include guest designs from Nam Nguyen, Speak Vintage, Walish Gooshe, and My Bougie Baby. Guy Lambert of WPGC-FM, 95.5 radio and America's Next Top Model cycle eight winner Jaslene Gonzalez will host the fashion show.

From 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., guests can shop in the Pop Up! Shop, featuring vintage and contemporary fashions and accessories.

Sponsors of the event are Fashion Fights Poverty, Krispy Kreme, Nation Tours and Transportation, Paul Mitchell the School Tysons Corner, and WDCW-TV (DC50-the CW).

Tickets are available in advance by calling 703-718-2656 or at the door on the day of the event. Proceeds will fund an annual trip to New York City for Fashion Design students. The fashion show will take place May 10 at 7 p.m. in West Potomac High School’s Springbank Theater.
