Robbery on Richmond Highway

The following arrest information was supplied by the Fairfax County police department. Where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A victim reported a robbery in the 7200 block of Richmond Highway on April 7 at about 2:45 a.m. Police said the suspect approached the victim from behind, implied a weapon and made off with the victim's cash and a cell phone.

In separate and unrelated incidents:

  • Two men approached a woman, struck her, and stole her purse before fleeing, police said. The incident took place on April 9 at about 10:40 p.m. in the 2200 block of Farrington Avenue. The victim was treated for minor injuries. 
  • A home in the 9500 block of Lynnhall reported a burglary on April 3 between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., according to police. The victim said checks were stolen and cashed, and the bank notified her when her account with overdrawn on April 6.
