• Golden to Mars Power Line Hearing Begins; Arguments Deferred (loudounnow.com) — Residents of Loudoun Valley Estates are playing a key role in pushing for a partially underground alternative to Dominion’s Golden to Mars power line, prompting regulators to delay formal arguments. With nearly 600 speakers and over 1,000 written comments, the State Corporation Commission has shortened speaking times, extended written comment deadlines to Dec. 30, and will set a new hearing schedule after public testimony ends.
