• Belle Haven man gets three years for sexual battery of child (shoredailynews.com) — Two Melfa residents recently received or face sentencing in Accomack Circuit Court, including one man given 18 months of active time for assaulting a sheriff’s investigator and another awaiting sentencing for conduct that risked disease transmission. The same court session also saw a Belle Haven man sentenced for an older child sex offense and other Eastern Shore defendants facing DUI and assault-on-responder charges.
