(smithfieldtimes.com) — Plans for a new Westside Elementary, which serves families in the Smithfield area, are moving forward as Isle of Wight County Schools reviews six bids from architectural firms. Staff will score proposals on school design experience, budget and schedule performance, and project approach, with top finalists expected to be presented to the School Board in February.
