• Armed robbery reported at Royal Mart in Waynesboro (newsleader.com) — An armed robbery was reported early Friday at the Royal Mart on East Broad Street in Waynesboro, where a masked man implied he had a gun and fled with cash. Waynesboro Police are asking anyone who may recognize the suspect’s description or have seen anything suspicious around 6 a.m. to contact Sgt. Robert Dean.
