1 Killed, 3 Arrested In Bonney Lake Stabbing

One of the three suspects arrested for the killing was just 19-years-old.

BONNEY LAKE, WA — One man has died and three others are behind bars after a stabbing in Bonney Lake early Monday morning.

According to Bonney Lake Police, just before 6 a.m. officers were called to the 9500 block of 202nd Avenue East. There, officers found a 47-year-old man who had been stabbed several times. Officers called East Pierce Fire and requested medics, but the man died shortly after police arrived.

Shortly after the stabbing, officers quickly determined this was a deadly robbery, and took three suspects into custody: a 19-year-old boy and 36-year-old man, both from Lake Tapps, and a 26-year-old Bonney Lake man. It is unclear how exactly they were identified as suspects.

All three suspects have been booked in the Pierce County Jail. Each has been formally charged for both first degree murder and robbery. The Cooperative Cities Crime Response Unit has been called in, and are assisting the Bonney Lake Police Department as they investigate this death further.
