3 Teens Injured When Car Slams Into Power Pole In Maple Valley
First responders say one of the passengers was thrown from the car, another had to be airlifted to Seattle for critical treatment.
MAPLE VALLEY, WA — Three teenagers have been hurt after their car slammed into a power pole Tuesday.
The King County Sheriff's Office reported the crash just before noon, saying they had been called to the crash site in the 22000 block of SE Kent Kangley Rd in Maple Valley.
First responders say three teenage girls had been in the car when it crashed. The driver only suffered minor injuries in the accident, but one of the passengers was thrown from the car and broke several bones. The third victim, the back seat passenger, also suffered serious injuries and had to be airlifted to Harborview Medical Center for emergency treatment.

There has been no word yet on the cause of the crash and officers have been caused to investigate.
