Bonney Lake Police Seeking Reserve Police Officer

The Civil Service Commission has an opening for: Reserve Police Officer

The City of Bonney Lake Police Department is seeking a knowledgeable and motivated person(s) for the Reserve Police Officer program in a fast growing department and community. The Police Department currently employs 37 staff members (including the Chief of Police, Commissioned Officers and Support Staff) and services just over a seven-mile radius and approximately 17,730 citizens.

This is a Part-Time, Volunteer position. In order to remain active in the City of Bonney Lake Reserve Police Officer program, the incumbent must work at least 20 hours each month. All accepted applications will be screened for eligibility. Successful candidates must pass a comprehensive background check and polygraph and psychological testing.

In order to be considered please submit an application (required), which can be obtained online, or at the Bonney Lake Justice & Municipal Center or Public Safety Building.

Testing consists of a written exam, physical agility test, psychological, polygraph and a background investigation. Testing is completed once a year, which usually occurs in the spring in preparation for the Reserve Academy in the fall.
