Bonney Lake $1 Store Fined For Workplace Violations
The store was cited for three "willful" workplace violations, according to state investigators.

BONNEY LAKE, WA - The Bonney Lake Dollar Tree store is facing close to $200,000 in fines for "willful" violations of state workplace safety regulations, according to the Department of Labor and Industries.
Investigators found three specific violations, according to an L&I press release. There were allegedly boxes and other items blocking emergency exits and access to the break room. In the storage room, investigators allegedly found heavy boxes stacked on top of light ones, which state officials believe might result in a heavy box falling on an employee's head. The store was fined $70,000 for each of those violations.
The store also allegedly did not have covers over lights, which investigators said could cause injury due to falling glass. The store was fined $26,000 for that violation.
