Bonney Lake Chamber of Commerce Honors Local Businesses, Individuals with Annual Awards
This year's honorees include Tehaleh as best new business, Jim Bouchard as citizen of the year, and Walmart as business of the year.

The Bonney Lake Chamber of Commerce announced Wednesday night the following recipients of its annual awards on its Facebook page, with additional comments and descriptions:
Business of the Year - Walmart
Many people may not know this, but last year Walmart donated $250,000 to the Bonney Lake Community. Each year their Associates also donate thousands of hours of community service.

Citizen of the Year - Jim Bouchard
Jim has served on the Chamber Board, Bonney Lake Kiwanis and the Park Board. Jim started the Bonney Lake Labor of Love Triathlon and is an avid outdoorsman.

Best New Business - Tehaleh

Best Home Based Business - Tailored Living
Mike Lyon, owner of Tailored Living received the Best Home Based Business Award. Mike also serves on the Chamber Board and is very involved in the community. Mike is a great example of how to network your business to get results.
Chamber Volunteer of the Year - Nicole Remington
Nicole works for Rainier Dental and serves as Treasurer on the Chamber Board, is the Chair of the 2013 Bonney Lake Relay for Life, is on the Board for AUSA and helps with her daughter's Girl Scout Troop.
