Buckley Police: Man Arrested in DV Assault, Pit Bull Reported and School Property Damaged

The following information from June 25 to June 30 was provided by the Buckley Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

June 25, 2013

Property Damage: Police received a report at 12 p.m. that several items were damaged at Glacier Middle School.

June 27, 2013

Pit Bull: Police received a complaint that there was a large, possible pit bull at a location on the 100 block of D Street. The responding officer found an open gate and the animal in back in the year; a veterinarian confirmed the animal was a pit bull.

Overdose: Police assisted first responders with a medical issue at a location on the 400 block of Main Street at 2:12 p.m. A resident was found unresponsive but breathing; he was treated at the scene and later hospitalized from an apparent drug overdose.

June 28, 2013

No Soliciting: Police took a 20-year-old Auburn man into custody at 7:36 p.m. after responding to a report he was soliciting door to door in the area of Main Street at Elsa Street. He was found to have multiple outstanding warrants from other cities.

June 29, 2013

Vehicle Theft:  A resident reported his vehicle was stolen from the 1000 block of East Mason at 12 p.m. It was later impounded and he was able to recover his vehicle.

Theft from Vehicle: A woman reported to police at 12:30 p.m. that someone entered her vehicle on the 400 block of Cemetery Road and stole items from inside.

Domestic Violence: Police arrested a man for fourth-degree assault after responding to a home on the 400 block of Park Avenue at 10:42 p.m. for a domestic violence incident. The female partner was transported for possible injuries to her face.

June 30, 2013

DUI: A driver was arrested for DUI after a traffic stop on Main Street at Cottage Street at 12:02 a.m. for multiple moving violations.

DUI: A driver was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on the 28500 block of State Route 410 at 2:08 a.m. for speeding.

Obstruction: A woman was arrested and cited for obstructing an officer after police responded to the 200 block of Mills Street at 2:59 a.m. for a domestic argument in progress. She reportedly would not allow officers access to the residence and physically grabbed an officer, refusing to comply with verbal commands to sit down and calm down.
