The city of Bonney Lake announced Wednesday the new emergency phone is now installed at Allan Yorke Park.
Citizens can hit a push button to report an emergency on the water.
The phone is located next to a new self-serve life jacket loaner kiosk that supplies jackets for free to citizens to use while on the water.
Both efforts aim to reduce the number of drownings a that occur on the lake through outreach and education via the community SwimSafe program.
