This beloved musical centers on Tevye, the father of five daughters, and his attempts to maintain his family and Jewish religious traditions while outside influences encroach upon their lives. The original Broadway production of the show opened in 1964 and remains one of Broadway’s longest running shows in history. It spawned four Broadway revivals, a successful 1971 film adaptation, and the show has enjoyed enduring international popularity.
The curtain goes up at the Performing Arts Center at 7:00 p.m. on May 2, 3 and 4. Matinee performance at 2:00 p.m. on May 4.

The performance is under the direction of drama teacher Rachel Street and choir director Karlene Miles.
