Cascade Water Alliance will begin its annual spring fill of the Lake Tapps Reservoir on Sunday, March 1, 2020.

LAKE TAPPS, WA — Maybe it's just the vitamin D, or Western Washington's recording its first clear day since November, but there seems to be a little hint of springtime is in the air.

Cascade Water Alliance announced it will begin the annual spring fill of the Lake Tapps Reservoir on Sunday, March 1, once Pierce County crews wrap up a few improvement projects at North Tapps Park.

In a news release, Cascade said it was confident there would be no delay reaching the target reservoir level by April 15.
