BONNEY LAKE, WA — The city is accepting public comments through June 3 regarding new construction proposals for property along State Route 410, near Costco, which is expected to include a Chick-fil-A restaurant.

The proposal is reportedly for both a new 7,000-square-foot building that will include space for one retail business and two restaurants as well as a 4,815-square-foot Chick-fil-A. The property upon which these new buildings will potentially be constructed is just more than two acres located between Costco and the Fred Meyer shopping center, along 204th Avenue East.

The property, which was formerly a wooded area, is now a cleared field just north of the MultiCare Pharmacy off South Prairie Road East.
