Sumner-Bonney Lake District Offering Free Back-To-School Supplies
The school district has planned four events over August to help get backpacks, pens, notebooks and more to students in need.
SUMNER, WA — Students with the Sumner-Bonney Lake School District may be resuming classes remotely when the school year begins next month, but they'll still need all the regular school supplies they'd want for in-person learning.
That's why the school district has announced four upcoming events to help kids get the supplies they'll need to succeed in the coming year. All events are physically-distanced curbside pickup events, so families can come by to grab backpacks, pens, crayons, notebooks and more.

| August 25 & 25 12:30 - 7 p.m. | Sumner-Bonney Lake Family Center 1508 Willow Street, Sumner |
Finally, on August 21 there will be drop off event where the district will deliver their patented Backpack Buddy Food Sacks to families in need. Anyone can arrange to receive a drop off by calling the Family Center at (253) 891-6150. That's also the number to call for any additional information or if you'd like to donate supplies yourself.
