Three Injured in Collision at SR 167 and Ellingson Road

Three people were injured and two booked into King County Jail following a collision entering State Route 167 at Ellingson Road in Auburn Tuesday night at 11:48 p.m.

According to a State Patrol memo, the drivers of a Jetta and a Yamaha motorcycle were southbound on State Route 167 when the motorcycle exited to Ellingson. The Jetta followed and both entered the ramp back onto southbound SR 167. The Jetta rammed the motorcycle, which ejected a passenger on the motorcycle and forced it into a third vehicle.

The driver of the Jetta, from Bonney Lake, was not injured. 

The collision closed the roadway for two hours, 51 minutes. The investigation remains ongoing and charges were pending.
