Today in Bonney Lake-Sumner: Learn about Wildlife Habitats, Plus Seabiscuit Book Discussion

The Pierce County Library System has events for both kids and adults today, Thursday, July 25.

Children in grades kindergarten through 6th grade are invited to come check out 'Habitat is Where It's At' at the Sumner Library (1116 Fryar Ave) this afternoon to learn about what a habitat is, what wildlife need to survive and more.

The event is free and starts at 1 p.m.; however due to limited capacity, tickets for the event will be handed out beginning at 10 a.m. tomorrow morning, when the library opens. There's a limit of 50, so get there early.

For the grown-ups, head up the hill this evening at 7 p.m. for Books on Tapps at the Bonney Lake Library (18501 90th St. E.) where the focused discussion will be on "Seabiscuit" by Laura Hillenbrand. This event is sponsored by The Friends of the Bonney Lake Library.
