Today in Bonney Lake-Sumner: Take in Fine Arts, Jazz or some Medieval Jousting
The Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire opens for its first of three weekends today, Saturday, August 3.

The Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire opens for its first of three weekends today, Saturday, August 3.
Enjoy an assortment of performers and entertainers who may even sound like they stepped out of Shakespearean play, catch Queen Elizabeth's Tournament and Joust with Cavallo Equestrian Arts, revel in her knighting ceremony, and don't leave without trying to devour one of those gigantic turkey legs a la King Henry VIII.
Then mellow out and stroll through the many vendor booths and fancy the idea of bringing home your very own chainmail vest just because it looks cool.
Come in full medieval garb or your summer shorts and sandals, but just come!
The faire opens at 10 a.m. and runs through 7 p.m. both today and Sunday at the Kelley Farm (20021 Sumner Buckley Highway). Visit the event website for more information.Â
Looking for something more modern?
