Today in Bonney Lake-Sumner: The Coats, Part Deux
Did you miss the acclaimed vocal group earlier this week in Bonney Lake? Not to worry - The Coats are back in Sumner tonight as the featured act for Music on Main. Showtime's at 6:30 p.m.
They're playing Benaroya Hall in Seattle this Christmas season and delighted a Bonney Lake audience earlier this week at Allan Yorke Park as part of the city's ongoing Tunes at Tapps concert series.
Tonight, The Coats bring their vocal stylings to Sumner as part of the Music on Main series.
The group began performing on the street corners near Pike Place Market in the early years. According to their website: "Singing for tourists, locals, fish vendors, and fellow buskers, their humble ambitions of earning a few clams to fight off the tuition bills quickly evolved into a full-time international performance career."
The concert starts at 6:30 p.m. tonight.
