East Pierce Fire and Rescue reported via Facebook Friday afternoon that two people were injured in a motorcycle crash in Mount Rainier National Park.
Both people involved were said to have moderate injuries. It was not apparent from the department's updates where the crash occurred; however East Pierce was initially set to respond to the White River Ranger Station off State Route 410.Â
Park rangers later updated that they would meet with the injured at the Greenwater Fire Department.Â
Several sections of the park opened for the summer this long Fourth of July weekend including the Sunrise area and Mowich Lake Road.
