As White River Rises, Sumner Closes Link Trail
Starting Friday afternoon, the trail will be closed through the weekend.
SUMNER, WA — As the White River continues to rise, the City of Sumner has closed the full length of the Sumner Link Trail.

Forecasters with NOAA have predicted there will be minor flooding along the White River, peaking sometime around 11 a.m. Sunday before tapering off.
So far, no other closures have been announced, but the city is watching both the Puyallup and White Rivers this weekend, as both rivers are expected to run high and fast for the next few days.
