Event volunteers are still needed for the Fourth on the Plateau - July 4th at Sammamish Commons.
The volunteer orientation is June 27 at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall.

Volunteers would need to be comfortable using radios (we can give a class/overview if necessary). Lead volunteers need to check in at 4 p.m. for the police briefing, everyone else will start at 5:30 p.m. or 7 p.m. Volunteers should be done by 11 p.m.
Volunteer benefits include: Parking passes; event t-shirts and knowing that you are supporting this annual family event.

Area Managers (supervise Area Support Volunteers) check in at 4 p.m. for police briefing – until around 11 p.m.Â
Area Support - 7 p.m. briefing and volunteer until 11 p.m.Â
- Provide support for lost parents
- Be a resource to guests- know the FAQ’s on water, food, toilets, and first aid, lost children, police, fire and ambulance
- Be able to provide information about activities vendors are doing, music, fireworks and the kid’s area
- Be polite and courteous, but firm. Safety comes first!
- Watch for: fireworks, alcohol or any unsavory behavior
