"One of the missions of the Sammamish Rotary is to provide the young people in our community with the basic resources to thrive. This driving desire of ours fits perfectly with the mission of Eastside Baby Corner. Young children in need are among the most defenseless. We want to fully support them in this critical period of their life. Eastside Baby Corner is passionately devoted to this purpose. It's a perfect match,” said Rotary Club of Sammamish Community Service Committee Chair, CJ Kahler.

The collection drive was also the launch of a Community Drive Campaign for Eastside Baby Corner that will assist in cultivating much needed in-kind donations throughout local communities. The Community Drive Campaign, which includes updated promotional materials and re-branding of Eastside Baby Corner, was made possible by the generous DSG Grant awarded by the Rotary District 5030, Rotary Club of Seattle, and Rotary Club of Sammamish.

These annual grants are provided to local organizations that benefit the community and improve lives of the economically disadvantaged. Rotary members distributed Eastside Baby Corner branded reusable shopping bags to customers, as well as showcasing a variety of new promotional campaign materials, all much needed purchases made possible by the Rotary’s grant.
