Family Members pay Respect to Irene Agnes Wishart, 84, Sammamish Resident

The Wishart family of Sammamish bid their farewells to Irene Agnes Wishart this month after she passed away on Dec. 8.

She was 84. Wishart was born on June 17, 1926 in what was then Northern Ireland, according to a notice from Flintofts Funeral Home & Crematory in Issaquah.

She married Jack Wishart in 1957. The two moved to the United States in 1965. For the past 40 years, she and Jack Wishart called Sammamish home. In the Flintofts notice, her husband said that she never complained about challenges in life. Her family said she always had a positive outlook and a nice way with engaging with people in conversation.

She once worked at the Providence Point Conference Center and the Hi-Low Super Market in Issaquah. She loved dancing, knitting, cooking and participating in the Irish Heritage Club.

The family had a Dec. 12 memorial at their house. Relatives ask that people donate to any charity in her memory.
