High School Soccer Players from Sammamish Named to 2010 All-State Girls Teams

All three high school girls soccer teams in Sammamish have earned a coveted honor: Having members named to the 2010 All-State Girls Soccer Teams.

High school coaches in the state voted for the players, including ones from , and , coach Aaron Radford said.

On Friday, Radford of Kentwood High School released the list to Sammamish Patch. He is Class 4A coach of the year.

Class 4A

First Team

Forwards:Jaclyn Softli, Eastlake; Michelle Bretl, Skyline. Midfielder: Maddie Christ, Skyline. Defender:Brittanee Randle, Skyline. Goal Keeper: Tina Vargas, Skyline.

Second Team

Midfielder:Madi Barney, Skyline.

Honorable Mention

Defenders:Jackie Wilson, Skyline; Dom Randle, Skyline.

Class 3A

Honorable Mention

Defender:Kellie Standish, Eastside Catholic.
