Job Watch: City of Sammamish Seeks Temporary Parks Planning Staff Member

If you know someone who has a background in urban planning, architecture, landscape architecture or construction management and is looking for a job, the is seeking to hire a temporary, full-time parks planning staff member.

The City Council approved the position, which is a six to 12-month limited job, on Tuesday night.

The person needs at least two years of experience in landscape architecture or project planning, as well as proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Microsoft Word and Excel.

The salary ranges between $52,784 and $72,239 but that amount depends at which level a person is hired, according to city documents.

The city's parks planning staff is working on several projects, including , Sammamish Landing, the Boys & Girls Club recreation center, the second phase of play fields at and Beaver Lake community garden.
