Math is Cool! It's True: Skyline Students Rank in Math Competition

So how cool is math? Well, for students, math is so cool that a group of students recently competed in the, get this, "Math is Cool" competition and came in 7th place in Division A.

That placed them among the top teams in the state, school officials said.

The school sent the news out in an email about the students, who competed in the Masters level of the "Math is Cool" competition. It was held Dec. 13 in Moses Lake.

On the 9th and 10th grade team were: Bhavya Chabra, Lalith Devireddy, Akkshay Khoslaa and Michael Lee. On the 11th and 12th grade team were: Supriya Dublish, Kevin Li, Ashwin Rao and Yifei Xu.

On an individual level, Akkshay Khoslaa came in 4th place in the pre-calculus section, the school said.
