On Monday, Part of SE 8th St. Closed for Paving

A reminder: Southeast 8th Street will be closed to westbound traffic Monday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. so work crews can pave it, the reported on its website.

The paving will occur on that street, between 228th Avenue Southeast to Southeast Windsor Boulevard. Southeast 8th Street will remain open to eastbound traffic.

Motorists should watch for detour signs and crews who will help direct traffic. Southeast 8th Street will be open in both directions during the weekend.

When work crews are paving the street, construction at 244th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 8th Street will be stopped to help traffic flow.
