
The on Thursday named Lt. Rick Reynolds as the "Fire DepartmentEmployee of the Year" for his community efforts, Eastside Fire & Rescue announced.
Reynolds, who is bassed at in the Pine Lake area, is a technical and swiftwater rescue team leader. He also presents information at community meetings, teaches emergency response classes and specializes in disaster preparation efforts.
He began his firefighting career as a volunteer 911 dispatcher. He is a former volunteer for King County Fire District 27. He joined Eastside Fire in July 1996.Â
