One of the first nonprofit multi-tenant centers in the nation, Together Center was designed first and foremost to lower barriers to finding help. Where East King County residents once needed to travel from Bothell to Renton or beyond to find help at individual locations, people from throughout the Eastside, including Sammamish, now find comprehensive assistance at one location in downtown Redmond.
Services include food, shelter, medical and dental care, child care assistance, youth and family counseling and more. Over 60,000 were on campus last year. In addition, the nonprofit campus keeps lease rates as low as possible so agencies and provides other efficiencies so agencies can focus their resources on clients. In 2010, for example, Together Center saved agencies $230,000 in lease costs alone.
