Big SR 18 Lane Change Begins With Full Closure Tuesday

The full westbound SR 18 closure begins Tuesday night after the evening rush hour.

ISSAQUAH, WA — The westbound lanes of SR 18 will close beginning Tuesday night as part of an ongoing WSDOT construction project along a bridge south of Tiger Mountain. This is the first of eight such closures scheduled for this summer.

Tuesday's closure will begin at 10 p.m. near the Issaquah-Hobart Road overpass, and will end at 5 a.m. Wednesday. Westbound drivers will use the Issaquah-Hobart Road on and off-ramps to get around the closure.

When the westbound lanes reopen, only the right lane across the Issaquah-Hobart Road bridge will be open instead of two. That configuration will last until July.
