Boys Lacrosse: Tahoma Downs Skyline, JV Thumps Camas
Skyline lost to Tahoma 12-9; Skyline JV defeated Camas 13-7.

Tahoma cruised to its third win of the season behind five two-goal performances in a 12-9 boys high school lacrosse defeat of Skyline High School on Monday at Tahoma High School in Covington.
Nate Godey, Brody Sullivan, Hudson Taylor, Jake Hanson and Dakoda Barger all had two-goal performances for Tahoma as they overcame a 6-5 Skyline lead at the half with four third-quarter goals to take a 9-7 lead going into the final quarter. In the fourth, Tahoma outscored the Spartans 3-2 to cruise to the win.
Skyline’s Tyler Johnson led all scorers with four goals and two assist.

Skyline (5-5-0) next faces Issaquah (5-3-0), Tuesday, April 16 in an 8 p.m. start at Skyline High School in Sammamish.

Kurtenbach nets five as Skyline JV downs Camas in lacrosse
Charlie Kurtenbach scored five goals to lead Skyline’s JV squad past Camas 13-7 in boys high school lacrosse action, Monday at Doc Harris Stadium in Camas.
Skyline led 4-2 after the first than matched two Camas scores in the second for a 6-4 half-time lead. In the third it was all Skyline as the Spartans put three unanswered goals on the Papermakers in the third than added four more in the fourth to round out the scoring.
Ryan Stanley and Blake Carpenter joined the top Skyline scorers with two goals apiece.
Tabbut Bryce led Camas with four goals and six ground balls while Ollie Stanchfield had 16 saves in goal.
Camas (1-2-0) next faces next faces Roosevelt (4-2-0), Friday, April 12 in a 7 p.m. start at Lower Woodland Park playfield #7 in Seattle.
