Issaquah Creek has crested. Current weather forecasts indicate rain will continue, but is not anticipated at previous rates. Check back for updates, however, in case conditions change.

Road Closures

Newport Way remains closed between Northwest Oakcrest Drive and state Route 900 as crews address potential landslide concerns on King County open space. All residents can access their homes via the Lakemont Boulevard Southeast exit, and head eastbound on Newport Way. Please respect the "Road Closed" signs.

Waste Collection

Due to road conditions, waste collection service was cancelled in some areas. Recology will return on your next scheduled service day and collect double your normal volumes at no additional cost. Please bag or bundle any additional material.

Disaster Assistance

If your home or business sustained damage as a result of the weather, you may be eligible for disaster assistance. King County Emergency Management is collecting information from residents and businesses on damage and losses suffered during the recent severe weather and flooding (since Jan. 20, 2020).
