City of Sammamish Uses Website to Inform Residents About Community Center Idea
Officials have hired consultants and have embarked on a series of public meetings.

The is continuing to reach out to residents to get feedback about whether the municipality should build a community center - which might include swimming pools.
On the city's website, officials have posted a variety of information, including a timeline, online comment form and links to previous public meeting notes and presentations.
The next public meeting about the community center is scheduled for April 11 at 6:30 pm at City Hall. Residents should note that officials hope to present a final feasibility study about the community center to the City Council at a July 12 meeting.

The topics of conversation at previous meetings have centered on whether the city should build such a facility, as well as the size, cost, method of payment and amenities should the project go forward.
